THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vanchiyoor Police have registered a case against widespread use of fake stamp papers in various courts here for bond execution. According to police, District Judge B Sudeendra Kumar had informed the City Police Commissioner T J Jose that fake stamp papers were being used in District Courts, Sub-Courts and Munsiff courts.
Following the complaint, the City Police Commissioner visited the District Court and entrusted Shangumugham Assistant Commissioner to investigate the issue. Vanchiyoor Police took the statement of the District Court superintendent and the Shirastedar and registered a case.
Investigation has started into bond execution since 2009 onwards.
