THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Scholar and literary critic P K Rajasekharan will hold a lecture series on ‘Kerala culture, literature and society’ at the Fourth Estate Hall of the Press Club here on April 21 and 22.
The lecture series will cover a variety of topics which will be useful for students, academicians and the general public.
The schedule is as follows: April 21: ‘Maps and boundaries: Reimagining Kerala’ (9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.), ‘Sacred groves and temples: Two cultures’ (11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.), ‘Liberation of the Sudras: Poetry and population’ (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
April 22: ‘Modernism: Mind and Body’ (9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.), ‘Modernism: Reality and realism’ (11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.), ‘After modernism: Beyond the boundaries’ (2 p.m. to 4 p.m.).
