KSEB to appoint 54 as office assistants

Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) will appoint 54 persons as office assistants. Since 2008, no appointments were made on die in harness in the office assistant post.

The physically-challenged persons who were appointed during 1997-98 through employment exchange as temporary workers were not made permanent employees even after an order was issued in 2008.

The appointments were not made as there were no vacancies. 82 vacancies were created after seven persons who were office assistants were made care-takers and 119 persons as cashier trainees.

Now, these 54 vacancies would be filled. 44 persons will be appointed under die in harness and 10 from the physically-challenged persons.
