An exclusive online shopping portal has been created for the South Indian Bank Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF) for the first time to provide a platform for consumers finding the perfect gift this Christmas season.
All merchant establishments registering in the Premium Gold and Silver categories for Season VI of GKSF, which begins on December 15, will have a presence in the online shop where they can offer gift vouchers.
The buyers will be able to choose their shops based on product category and location. They can then buy coupons of the desired amount within the given range for each category.
For Gold category shops, the gift voucher range is between Rs 3,000 and Rs 30,000; for Silver category shops it is between Rs 1,000 and Rs 10,000.
Individual buyers can specify their recipient for their gift vouchers, and purchase them by making online payment through net banking or using any debit/credit card via the payment gateway provided.
On successful payment, the buyers and recipients will both receive an email and a text message on their mobile phones. The recipient will receive the original voucher within 2-3 working days in the address provided. The recipients can present the voucher and text message at the shop mentioned and buy goods of their choice for the given amount. All purchases made using online shopping vouchers will also be eligible for the scratch-win-coupons.
This being the Christmas and New Year Season, the online facility will enable people, especially Non-Resident Keralites who may be unable to visit home for holidays, to present gifts to their loved ones. The online facility can be accessed on shop.shoppingfestival.in from December 10 till the end of GKSF
