Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum in association with the Embassy of France in India  will screen ‘Le chat du Rabbin’ (The Rabbi’s Cat) as part of December Cineclub. In the celebrated graphic novel-turned-animated feature film, Rabbi Sfar goes on a quest for a hidden tribe, taking with him a wise Arab Sheikh, an eccentric Russian millionaire, and his talking cat, who wants to convert to Judaism.

This highly original, beautifully crafted film is a joyful and multi-colorful return to hand-drawn 2D and imparts a universal message of tolerance. The film will be screened on December 22 at 5.30 pm.
