The All-India Students Federation (AISF) has said in a statement here on Wednesday that it will organise awareness campaign against atrocities on girl students and women in the country.

It also demanded opening of ‘Counselling Centres’ in all educational institutions and to take stringent action against those involved in atrocities against girl students.  Condemning the brutal gang-rape of a lady inside a moving bus in New Delhi the other day, AISF state secretary K P Sandheep said that those found guilty should be severely punished. It is also shocking to see reports of atrocities against women and girl students in the state.  The present laws should be amended suitably to fight such crimes in society, the statement said.
