National Science Day: KSCSTE to coordinate state-level fete

Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) will coordinate the state-level celebrations in connection with the National Science Day-2013 with the focal theme ‘Genetically modified crops and food security - Issues and prospects’.

Proposals have been invited from schools, higher secondary schools, vocational higher secondary schools, colleges, industrial training institutions, polytechnic colleges, universities, research organisations and registered NGOs in the state for the celebration.

The programmes should be planned to generate awareness among the students, academia and the general public about the importance of National Science Day and on focal theme.

The application format and guidelines including details of the financial support offered from KSCSTE can be downloaded from the website or collected from KSCSTE office.

The proposals in the prescribed format should be submitted to the Member Secretary, KSCSTE, Sasthra Bhavan, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuam - 4, so as to reach the office on or before January 5, 2013.
