The second death anniversary of former Chief Minister K Karunakaran will be observed on Sunday under K Karunukaran Foundation.
A commemoration meet will be held at Rajiv Gandhi auditorium at Indira Bhavan.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the event, which will be presided over by KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala who is also the K Karunukaran Foundation chairman.
K Muraleedharan MLA, Speaker G Karthikeyan, Ministers V S Sivakumar, Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor, Mayor K Chandrika, BJP leader O Rajagopal, N Peethambara Kurup MP, E T Mohammed Basheer, R Balakrishna Pillai, M M Jacob, Padmaja Venugoapal will be among others who will attend the meet.
KPCC will be organising district and block- level meets in memory of K Karunakaran.
