Swami Vivekananda’s statue unveiled

A life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda and ‘Vivekananda Mandapom’ erected on the premises of Sasthamangalam Sree Ramakrishnashrama Charitable Hospital here were unveiled by Sree Ramakrishna Mission senior trustee and Chennai Sree Ramakrishnashrama president Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj on Thursday.

 Speaking on the occasion, he urged the people of the nation to make use of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda as an ocassion to imbibe the ideologies of the great saint.

 Swami Golokanandaji Maharaj presided over the function. K Muraleedharan MLA, Mayor K Chandrika, Swami Kamalathmanandaji Maharaj, Swami Veerabhadranandaji Maharaj and P Parameswaran were also present on the occasion. ENS
