THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Axis Bank opened its new ATM at Pothencode the other day. Gururatnam Gnana Thapaswi, organising secretary, Santhigiri Ashram, inaugurated the ATM, the 207th of the Bank in the State.
Jacob Ninan, circle head, Axis Bank; Unnikrishna Pillai, branch head; and Dr K G Narayana Pillai, SGM, Santhigiri Ashram, were present at the function.
The Bank officials said that opening of the ATM was yet another step towards extensive consumer banking with a focus on bringing superior banking services, marked by convenience to customers. Axis Bank has the second largest ATM network in the country with 1,500 branches and over 7,500 ATMs.
