THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram City Corporation on Wednesday organised a camp to distribute the documents of houses built under the VAMBAY housing scheme and ‘One Lakh House Scheme.’
Mayor K Chandrika inaugurated the camp at a function which was presided over by Welfare Standing Committee chairman Palayam Rajan.
The documents of houses built under the ‘One Lakh House Scheme (1999-2000)’ and VAMBAY housing scheme were kept by the Corporation to prevent the beneficiaries from selling the houses. The documents were given back as the fixed period restricting selling ended.
Taxes Appeal Standing committee chairman Syamkumar welcomed the gathering.
UDA project officer D Rajasekharan Nair proposed the vote of thanks.
