THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four persons were arrested on Friday, for attacking Peroorkada Sub Inspector and three other policemen who tried to take into custody two people who were consuming liquor in public. Following a complaint received at the station, when the team led by SI reached the spot in the Peroorkada region, two people were drinking in public. When the team tried to arrest the duo, two relatives joined them and attacked the police.  The arrested have been identified as Sasidhran, 59, his son Sharat, 23, Kurien, 53 and Rajan, 30. The arrested were produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
