THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sathmya-2012, a seminar aimed to create awareness on healthy practices organised by the Ayurveda and traditional medicine wings of the Indian Systems of Medicine, will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Priyadarshini Planetarium.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Health Minister Adoor Prakash at a function to be presided over by Transport Minister V S Sivakumar.
As many as 250 medical officers and traditional medical practitioners from all 14 districts of the State will participate in the seminar.
There shall also be lectures by eminent Ayurvedic doctors on various topics such as alcoholism and diseases, changing lifestyles and increasing illnesses, food being medicine, yoga treatment and sleep disorders.
