THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Southern Air Command (SAC), Thiruvananthapuram, has launched a cultural forum ‘Rang Manch’ to promote talent in the fields of art and culture.
Air officer commanding in chief, SAC, Air Marshal S P Singh AVSM inaugurated the forum. Teji Singh, president, AFWWA (R), Air Marshal Madhusoodan PVSM AVSM VSM (Retd), M R Krishnamurthy, director, ICCR, and other guests were present on the occasion.
Renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Thara Kalyan and troupe performed during the launch function. Rang Manch would also serve as an ideal platform of practice for budding artists and motivate children.
The occasion also marked the launch of the SAC Band ‘Southern Symphony.’
