THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Purogamana Kalasahithya Sangham observed flag day on Sunday as part of its platinum jubilee celebrations.

 75 flags were raised in the capital as part of the programme, said a release here on Sunday.

 Sangham state general secretary V N Murali hoisted the first flag at the state committee office here.

 District president Neelamperoor Madhusoodanan Nair presided over the function.

 Posters and stickers were also released as part of the observance. Murali delivered the jubilee message.

 District secretary Vinod Vaisakhi welcomed the gathering and district treasurer R Sreekandan proposed a vote of thanks.
