THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Southern Railway will run special trains between Ernakulam and Yesvantpur to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Advance reservation for the trains will commence on January 7. Train no. 06543 Yesvantpur - Ernakulam weekly express will leave Yesvantpur at 09.15 hrs on 9, 16, 23 and 30 January (Mondays) to reach Ernakulam Junction at 21.35 hrs on the same day.
In the return direction train no. 06544, Ernakulam Junction - Yesvantpur Express will start at 00.20 hrs on 10, 17, 24 and 31 January ( Tuesdays) from Ernakulam Junction to reach Yesvantpur at 12.30 hrs on the same day. The trains will stop at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Kuppam, Bangarpet, Krishnarajapuram and Banaswadi.
