THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: For the first time, the State School Kalotsavam to held in Thrissur from January 16 to 22, will be live-streamed simultaneously from six venues. This is apart from the live telecast through ViCTERS channel (www.victers.itschool.gov.in) and web-streaming through the IT@School ViCTERS site.

The IT@School has arranged the parallel streaming of the events from six venues in the website www.schoolkalolsavamlive.in

The IT@School has also completed its efforts to make the conduct of the festival and declaration of results in the kalotsavam totally online through the website www.schoolkalolsavam.in

It is using the content delivery network system that the live streaming from six venues would be made possible with the help of C-Dit. Through the content delivery system, the possibility of system getting ‘hang’ due to over demand of the content would not happen, a statement from the IT@School said.

Last year, the web streaming through the ViCTERS channel was viewed by people in 68 countries.
