THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A student who had been under treatment after taking poison died at the SUT Hospital here on Wednesday. The deceased, Rasmi R Nair, 28, of Muttada was admitted to the hospital weeks ago.
She was a research scholar at the Aquatic Biology Department of the Kerala University on the Kariavattom campus, Mannanthala police said.
Some students at the campus alleged that the student was under immense mental tension owing to some issues in connection with the submission of the work report for research.
