THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A delegation from Gujarat visited the SNV Library, Peringammala, Kalliyoor here the other day to learn the various activities at the library. The SNV Library, which is the first online library under the State Library Council, is worth emulating in other states, the delegation observed.

The delegation included Gujarati Sahitya Parishad secretary Rajendra Patel and Gujarati Sahitya Academy registrar Harshad Trivedi. The visit was as part of their efforts to formulate a new plan for library activities in Gujarat.

'Granthalokam’ assistant editor S R Lal and State Library Council administrative officer Jojo accompanied the delegation. SNV Library secretary G Pushparajan, librarian Shajan and software engineer S Kumar Kaveeswar briefed the activities of the library to the delegation.
