THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A reply objection was filed in the CBI court here on Monday against the  further investigation report of the CBI in the Kaviyoor case where a five-member family was found dead at their rented house at Kaviyoor in Pathanamthitta district in 2004.

The petitioner T P Nandakumar pleaded for issuing an order for a detailed investigation under the direct surveillance of the HC and the CBI Court, alleging that many of the findings in  the CBI report were based on  ‘inference’ and ‘without considering scientific evidence.’

The CBI had filed a further investigation report on Dec 16, 2011, implicating Narayanan Namboodiri, father of Anagha, of  sexually abusing her, a few days before the entire family ended their lives on the basis of an apparent suicide pact.

The court posted the case for further hearing on January 30.
