THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Gyanvani, the national educational radio channel functioning under the MHRD, should extend its coverage to the rural population, Dr A Jayakrishnan, Vice-Chancellor of Kerala University, has said.

He was presiding over the advisory board of Gyanvani FM Radio in Thiruvananthapuram the other day. A Prabhakaran, Director of Gyanvani, presented a report on the activities of the radio during the past one year.
