THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Parking on the wrong side is again causing problems on the Kothuval Street at Chalai Bazaar, according to the Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi, Chalai-Kothuval Unit.

In a statement here on Monday, the leaders of the unit said they have again requested the Traffic Police to take necessary steps to check the practice, which is causing traffic snarls on the narrow commercial street.

Unit president Kalady Aji and general secretary M Mohammed Siddiq said that numerous trucks, sales vans and autorickshaws visit the lane daily to unload or load goods. But some autorickshaws stop by for hours, which forces other vehicles to park on the wrong side or in the middle of the road, creating problems.
