KOLLAM: Defending champions Mar Ivanios College is leading with 24 points on day two at the Kerala University Youth festival here on Saturday. Mar Baselios College is in second position with with 22 points. There were 43 participants in the light music competition for boys. Immanuel Henry of Mar Baselios College won the first prize. Srikanth Hariharan of College of Architecture, Thiruvananthapuram came second and Anand SR of Mar Ivanios College came third.

The presence of reality show fame Immanuel Henry and Srikanth drew a good number of audience for the contest.

In Aksharashlokam contest, Unnikrishnan, fourth semester student of College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, won the first place. Parvathy of Barton Hill College and Krishna of University Engineering College, Kariyavattom, came second and third respectively.

Abhishek R of TKM College won first prize in mono act competition. Anand MS of IMK, University of Kerala, and Ranjith R of Mohandas College of Engineering, Nedumangad, shared the second prize. Anshad of NISH came third.

The Mar Ivanios College team asserted supremacy in the Margamkali competition while Mar Baselios College, Thiruvananthapuram and All Saints College finished second and third.
