A documentary on actor Madhu, who has completed 50 years in Malayalam cinema, is being made. Pushpan, who has been working as a cinematographer, is directing the movie. The switch-on was performed by Uthradom Thirunal Marthanda Varma, head of the royal family of erstwhile Travancore, at Pattom Palace in the city on Sunday in the presence of actor Madhu. The film is being produced under the banner of Light Pillar Visual Media.
The film highlights the role of the actor in the history of Malayalam film industry. It sketches his role in various fields and gives a place for his personal life.
At the switch-on ceremony, producer Subramaniam Kumar, S Karthikeyan, Sreekumaran Thampi, cinematographer Ramachandra Babu and Viji Thampi were among those present.
Shyam is giving the background score for the documentary. The script is by Sajeev Pazhoor. Gopan Sasthamangalam is the production controller. The shooting will begin soon.
