Literary contests to mark Sivagiri pilgrimage

The Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust will be organising a literary competition as part of the 80th Sivagiri pilgrimage.

The competition will be for students in the LP, UP, HS, Plus II and college and for the general public.

There will be elocution (Malayalam, English), essay writing and poetry recitation as part of the competitions. Area-wise competition will be held on December 7, 8 and 9 at Aruvippuram Temple, Chempazhanthi Gurukulam, Advaitha Vidyashramas at Kurichi and Aluva, Sivagiri Math and Sundarashekara Temple (Kannur).

Those who secure the first and second place will participate in the state-level competition at Sivagiri on December 26, 27 and 28.

Those interested in participating should register their names in the respective centres before November 30.
