In a tragic incident, an elderly woman who was accompanying her ailing husband to PRS Hospital died after an overspeeding car hit the couple in front of the hospital. Her husband has been admitted to the hospital in a serious condition.
The police said that the deceased was Rajamma, 68, of Valiyavila. The condition of her husband Karunakaran Nair is serious. The car which was overspeeding from Killipalam to Karamana side first hit the divider before hitting the couple and later hit a parked bike and the compound wall of the hospital.
