The accused-turned-approver in the Paul Muthoot murder case, Binu, on Wednesday again gave evidence against two other accused in the case, Kari Satheesh and Sathar.
He told the CBI court here that it was Kari Satheesh who stabbed the person who was driving the Scorpio and it was only the next day he came to know that it was Paul Muthoot who was killed.
He submitted that Kari Satheesh and his gang had followed Paul Muthoot on the instructions of main accused Jayachandran.
Binu also stood by his earlier statement that there were blood stains on the clothes of Kari Satheesh and Sathar.
He had also said that he saw Kari Satheesh handing over the knife to another accused Abi after washing of the blood stains. The case was registered by the CBI on January 29, 2010 as per the directive of the High Court. Two separate charge sheets have been filed in the case.
The first charge sheet is for offences of criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, rioting and criminal intimidation. The second charge sheet is for the offence of murder of Paul and destruction of evidence.
