Traffic curbs from 2 pm in city

Traffic regulations will be in place from 2 p m on Saturday in connection with the Muslim  Students Federation’s state conference here.

Vehicles heading towards Thampanoor from Peroorkada will be directed to go via Kowdiar, Vellayambalam, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud and Thampanoor fly over. Those going to East Fort from Peroorkada must go via Vellayambalam, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud,Thampanoor fly over, Killipalam and Attakulangara.

The vehicles coming via East Fort and heading towards Nedumancaud are directed to take a deviation at Attakulangara and go through the Killipalam flyover via Mettukada, Vazhuthacaud , Vellayambalam. From Thampanoor, the vehicles have to go via Aristo Junction, Model School Junction, Bakery Junction and Vazhuthacaud. Vehicles heading towards Thampanoor from MC Road are directed to take a deviation at Mannanthala and go via Mukkola, Kudappanakunnu, Peroorkada, Pipinmoodu, Sasthamangalam, Edappazhinji, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud and Thampanoor fly over.

Those going in the reverse direction must go via Aristo Junction, Model School Junction, Thycaud, Vazhuthacaud, Vellayambalam, Peroorkada, Kudappanakunnu, Mukkola and Mannanthala.Those vehicles from East Fort going through Papanamcode should go via Attakulangara, Killipalam, Karamana and vehicles plying from Thampanoor to Papanamcode should go via Thampanoor flyover, Killipalam and Karamana.

The city police have also identified parking areas for the vehicles that transport participants of the state conference.

 Vehicles have to be parked at Kazhakoottam, Chacka and Kovalam bypass.
