Higher Secondary Exams from March 3

The state Higher Secondary examinations of 2014 will be held from March 3 to March 22, according to the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education.

The second year higher secondary examinations will be held in two schemes. While those who got first year admission in 2008-09 will have to follow the scheme one, those admitted during the academic year 2005-06 will have to follow the second scheme, a press release from the Secretary, Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala, said.

Migration certificates will be issued along with examination certificates to those students writing their second year examinations.

The last dates for applying for the second year examination (without fine) is November 30 and December 5 for the first year.

The exam fees for second year students is Rs 200 and the fees for certificates, including migration certificate, is Rs 70. For first year students, the exam fees is Rs 200 and the certificate fees is Rs 40.

Applications are available at the Higher Secondary Education portal and all Higher Secondary schools.

While Open School students should write their examinations at the centres allotted to them, compartment students should submit their applications at the centres where they had appeared for exams during the previous year, the release said.
