The Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB) has invited entries to the amateur short film contest ‘Green Snippets 2014’ on the theme ‘Life, Biodiversity and Man’.
Applicants must be Indian citizens above the age of 18. The contest is open till May 15. The first prize winner will get a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and the second prize will fetch Rs 3,000. Four consolation prizes worth Rs 500 each will also be awarded.
Short films of one-minute to three-minute duration along with entry form available at www.keralabiodiversity.org shall be mailed to greensnippets2014@gmail.com.
The short film will be uploaded on YouTube with due credit to the sender. The film which is liked the most will receive a special award.
The prizes will be distributed at a public function to be conducted in connection with the International Day for Biological Diversity on May 22 here.
