Premachandran,Baby Cast Votes

UDF candidate in Kollam N K Premachandran cast his vote at booth No 44 at the Christu Raja School in Kollam on Thursday.

He was accompanied by wife Geetha and son Karthik to the polling station.

Premachandran, the first voter in the booth reaching, by around 7 am, had to wait for half an hour to cast his vote as the electronic voting machine developed some snag.   LDF candidate M A Baby exercised his franchise at the District Education Office in Thiruvananthapuram. Baby later visited Chathannoor, Kundara, Eravipuram, and Kollam constituencies to cheer his supporters.

BJP candidate P M Velayudhan did not vote as he is from Perumbavoor. He visited polling booths at St Antony’s School in Vadi, Chathannoor, Kundara etc.

Bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Kollam Stanley Roman and former Bishop Joseph G Fernandez cast their votes at booth No 59 at Thirumullavarom Devaswom Board LPS.

All India Forward Bloc national secretary G Devarajan cast his vote at Vallikkeezhu Govt Higher Secondary School in Kollam. Actor Mukesh cast his vote at the Pattathanam Govt UPS polling station with his family along with actor Rajendran.
