A three-member robbery gang was arrested in Parassala on Tuesday.
According to the police, the gang has over 50 cases registered against them. Gopu, 36, Nishad, 27, and Rajeev Mathew, 30, were arrested by the Parassala police while they were escaping after a robbery on Tuesday.
Theft at Temple
Valuables worth Rs 1.4 lakh were stolen from Sree Bhadrakali temple, Karumkulam, late on Monday.
According to Poovar police, the robbers entered the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and gold ornaments and other valuables were stolen.
A case has been registered and investigation is on.
