Wins Mahila Shakthi Award

Anchal-based Sabarigiri Residential School principal Deepa Chandran won the Mahila Shakthi Shiromani Award and gold medal by the Rashtriya Samarashtra Manch, an Indo-Nepal Cultural Organisation. This award is given on the occasion of International Women’s Day to those women who excel in the field of profession and social service. Deepa’s husband Dr Gopakumar is working in Pathanamthitta General Hospital and her daughter Malavika is studying in Plus II.
