THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The city police arrested two youths, including a notorious goon, for murder attempt during a land dispute between family members, on Wednesday night.
According to the Pettah police, Mahadevan,30, son of Thankappan of Parashery Veedu, Paurasamithi road near Chackai and Anu, 22, son of Anil Kumar of Puthuval Puthenveedu, Maithri Nagar near Chackai were the arrested.
They were arrested for attacking Rajesh, Ratheesh, Gireesh and Deepu using sword, during a scuffle on July 26. A 48-year-old man, Sharafudeen, who was hospitalised after sustaining internal injuries in the scuffle, died on July 28 at the hospital, the police said.
