Clean Campus: Five Arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Five persons were arrested by the police on Tuesday in the drive by police as part of ‘Safe campus - Clean campus’ programme to clamp down on people engaged in the sale of pan masala, liquor and drugs near school limits. According to the DGP K S Balasubramanian, around five cases were registered and 46 raids were conducted on the same day.

“Including the raid on Tuesday, as many as 3472 have so far been arrested since raids began on May 30.

A total of 19758 raids were conducted during this period and as many as 3472 cases were registered,” said DGP K S Balasubramanian.
