THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala State Sports Council president Padmini Thomas will inaugurate the Onam Sports Meet organised by the Thiruvananthapuram District Sports Council at the Shangumugham beach on Sunday.
Competitions in both men’s and women’s categories in tug-of-war and beach run will be held at the beach while the final round matches in football will be held at VFA Ground, Valiyathura.
The volleyball matches will get underway at Vellanadu on Monday while ‘kilithattu’ at Chempazhanthy and Kabbadi at Killiyoor will commence on September 2 and 3 respectively.
