Nod to Appear for Exams

The government has allowed students till Class IX in unrecognised schools in the state to write their final  examination and obtain Transfer Certificates (TC). The relaxation, under certain conditions, will be applicable for this academic year only.

“The permission to conduct the final examinations will not give such schools any preference in obtaining recognition from the government,” an official press note said. The government has allowed to give relaxation for unrecognised schools for this academic year as the Right to Education rules stipulate all schools to obtain government recognition or face closure.
