Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management- Kerala (IIITMK), an institute established by the Government of Kerala in Technopark here, has commenced online registration for admission to Post Graduate programmes for the academic year 2014-15.
IIITMK offers MSc in Information Technology, MSc in Computer Science and Information Security, MSc in Geo-informatics, MSc in Computational Science; MPhil programmes in Ecological Informatics and MPhil in Computer Science with the affiliation of Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Through these programmes, students get an opportunity to get nurtured by internationally recognised faculty in an industry-friendly atmosphere within India’s first technology park.
“The institute has state-of-the-art computing facilities, library with access to e-resources and good internship/ placement opportunities in both industry and research institutions,” a press note from IIITMK said.
Admission to MSc/PGDeG programmes will be based on IIITM-K Common Admission Test (ITCAT)/ valid GATE score. MPhil admission will be based on IIITM-K Research Aptitude Test (ITRAT)/ valid GATE or NET score.
All the candidates seeking admission to the various programmes of IIITMK have to apply on-line using the URL http:/www.iiitmk.ac.in/admission.
A printout of on-line application along with application fee (Demand Draft) and passport-size photos should reach the institute on or before May 16, 2014.
Test Centres - Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Thodupuzha, Perinthalmanna, Kozhikode, Chennai, Madurai, Mysore, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Kolkata.
Application fee for general candidates is Rs 250. The application fee for SC/ST Candidates is Rs 100.
