A group of eleventh standard students from the city has come out with a short film advising their fellow youths against the addiction to drugs among others.

‘Hello Mr Fool’ is a short film written and director by Kevarsha S J, an eleventh standard student of Technical Higher Secondary School, Muttada with the help of a few of his classmates.

“This film combines humour and suspense to deliver a strong message to today’s youth. We have dealt mainly with the youngsters’ involvement with drugs and pirated CDs and DVDs,” Kevarsha said.

Jessin Jayan, another eleventh grade student, has written the lyrics and composed the music for the production while Sabu Sooraj is the playback singer. Roshni Jacob plays an important character in the film.

The 21 minute, 31 second-long short film will be screened at the Press Club here on Saturday. Actor Kochu Preman and former minister M Vijayakumar are expected to attend the preview.
