Short Film Contest: Deadline Extended

The deadline for submitting short films for the National Short Film Contest organised in connection with the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) on May 31 has been extended from May 10 to May 19.

The deadline for submitting short films for the National Short Film Contest organised in connection with the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) on May 31 has been extended from May 10 to May 19.

The contest is being conducted by WNTD Kerala State Organising Committee formed under the leadership of the Department of Health,  Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies of the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology and the Regional Cancer Centre. The contest is open to youngsters between the ages of 18 and 25.

Only the first 100 entries received before the deadline will be considered for evaluation. Films of minimum duration of 30 seconds and not exceeding one minute are to be sent via e-mail to wntdkerala14@gmail.com.

The first three winning entries would get a cash prize of Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. There are also two consolation prizes of Rs 1,000 each. All winners would get a certificate and memento.
