Central Kerala diocese of the Church of South India (CSI) is organising four-year-long celebration of the 200th anniversary of the arrival of missionaries in the state.
A history seminar and a public conference will be organised here as part of this . Governor Sheila Dixit will inaugurate the seminar on ‘The influence of missionaries in the social development of Kerala’ on Saturday at 9.45 am at CSI Christ Church Centenary Hall, Palayam. Rt Rev J W Gladstone, M G Shashibhooshan and Ninan Koshy will present papers.
