'A Plus' Students Meet Speaker

Students from various government aided schools in Aruvikkara constituency, who secured A plus grades in all subjects in the SSLC examination, gathered at the official residence of Speaker G Karthikeyan here the other day to share their joy.

Students from various government aided schools in Aruvikkara constituency, who secured A plus grades in all subjects in the SSLC examination, gathered at the official residence of Speaker G Karthikeyan here the other day to share their joy.

Speaking to the enthusiastic students, Karthikeyan said that SSLC examinations were a major hurdle in the life of a student. The Speaker also wished all the students success in their future endeavours.

He also advised the students to take up a path of love and virtue in their life. The Speaker handed out copies of Jawaharlal Nehru’s ‘The Discovery of India’ to all the students. The State Institute of Children’s Literature and State Institute of Languages would also gift books to the students.

76 students from Sree Narayana HSS, Uzhamalakkal, Vithura HSS, Veeranakavu HSS, Aruvikkara HSS, Tholicode HSS, Panacode HSS, Vellanad HSS, Aryanad HSS, Paruthipalli HSS and Meenangal HSS, who secured A plus grades in the SSLC exam, attended the function along with their parents. The students also visited the Legislative Assembly and Legislature museum earlier in the day.
