THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man was beaten to death by his driver in Varkala on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Suresh Babu, 52, of Anand Bhavan, Paduvila.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 9 am in Suresh Babu’s house.
Suresh Babu and his wife had a quarrel over some issue and the driver, identified as Sivan, 30, intervened.
Later Suresh Babu and Sivan entered into an altercation following which Sivan beat up Suresh Babu on his head thrice.
Suresh Babu died on the spot. The accused was arrested.
