Raids Continue

As part of the ‘Operation Kuber,’   the police had carried out 237 raids across the state on Monday, DGP K S Balasubrahmanian said.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the ‘Operation Kuber,’   the police had carried out 237 raids across the state on Monday, DGP K S Balasubrahmanian said.

Around seven persons were arrested and 11 cases were registered. The cases have been registered under the Kerala Money-lenders Act.  The police seized `30,000 in cash and various documents during the raids. Steps to nab the illegal and exorbitant money-lenders will continue in the following days, the DGP said.
