THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 12-day hunger strike staged by pensioners of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) in front of the Secretariat was called off on Friday after the Transport Minister called on the protesters and held discussions with them at the venue.

The Minister gave assurance to the pensioners that steps would be taken to give the pension arrears for the months of April and May within 10 days.
