Idea-in-Progress in association with College of Fine Arts, Thiruvananthapuram, is organising a slide show of the works by Umesh P K on August 12. Umesh, an artist based in Hyderabad, took his BFA from College of Fine Arts and MFA from S N School, Hyderabad Central University. During his youth Umesh was fired by radical political ideologies. Learning Fine Arts and Folk History in Hyderabad Central University introduced history and architecture. “When you see a work of art, you are seeing the past; and your own perceptions are reflected on the canvas,” says the artist. The slide show will be held at College of Fine Arts at 5 pm.
