KOCHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has launched a 15-day academic programme for Company Secretaryship (CS) students who have passed/completed their executive programme on or after August 25.
The programme, aimed at instilling advanced professional skills in students, is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the various aspects of pursuing the CS profession successfully. It will also help students of the CS Executive Programme groom themselves for their role as company secretary in the corporate world. The Companies Act-2013 confers special status to Company Secretaries and has bracketed CS professionals along with managing directors and CEOs.
