Unaided Teachers Takes out March to Secretariat

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Unaided school teachers took out a march to the state secretariat on Saturday demanding enactment of legislation which lays down clear-cut service and pay conditions for teaching and non-teaching staff in the unaided sector.

The march was organised by Kerala Unaided School Teachers’ Organistation (KUSTO). Inaugurating the march, former MP P Viswambharan said the state government should not continue in office if it cannot put an end to the exploitation of 1.5 lakh unaided school teachers and staff by private managements.

The march was taken out from Fine Arts College, Palayam to secretariat, where a protest meeting was held.
