THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: City police commissioner H Venkatesh will flag off a two-week long awareness campaign on helmet safety in front of the Kanakakkunnu Palace here at 10 am on Monday.
The awareness campaign, which is being organised by the Thiruvananthapuram City Police and Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel, will see the participation of police officers travelling around the city in six teams to create awareness regarding wearing helmet while riding bikes. Film actor Karthika will read out the awareness message during the ceremony.
