THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The district administration on Friday started a trial run on the ‘Annam Punyam’ project which aims at ensuring that no one goes hungry in Thiruvananthapuram district.
Through this project, food will be provided from four selected hotels in each of the 13 villages in the district on the strength of the coupons issued by the village officers. It will be launched at Vanchiyoor, Peroorkada, Kudappanakkunnu, Vattiyoorkavu, Sasthamangalam, Kowdiar, Pettah, Thycaud, Pattom, Muttathara, Ulloor, Thirumala and Manacaud.
